The family of USAF CPT Warren Weinstein has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

CPT Warren Weinstein served in the Korean War from 1950 - 1954.  After being honorably discharged, CPT Weinstein served in the Reserves from 1954 – 1958.  During his military service Warren flew a total of 11 different aircraft: T-6, T-28, B-25, C-45, C-46, C-47, C-82, B-26, B-29 & Gruman Albatros SA-16.   CPT Weinstein’s bomber jacket is currently on display at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley.

After his service, Warren flew for almost 33 years for American Airlines.  Not only did Warren log over 25,000 flight hours, he was also a volunteer for the Palm Springs Aero Squadron for 21 years.  In total, Warren flew 23 different aircraft and built models of each as building model airplanes was a hobby he enjoyed.

Warren’s beloved wife, Diana, preceded him in death.  Our hero is survived by: his brother Allen, his daughter Alisa, son-in-law Todd and granddaughter Samantha.

Note: I met Warren about 2 months ago and he was more like a 73 yr old and not 93!

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.
