I have been remiss in not writing sooner to thank you and the members of the Patriot Guard Riders who honored my husband's service in the Air Force on the 21st of February in Banning.

When I heard the motorcycles, I smiled, because as a "fellow" rider and PGR member, I know how meaningful it is to attend and honor the fallen.

However, when I also saw riders who belong to the Women in the Wind--my club--come through the door, I lost it. Heck, I'm almost losing it right now as I type this!!

Ron was many things to many people, but in death, he becomes connected to the ages. I will miss him, and the memorial wouldn't have been complete without your presence.  I thank you from my heart for your being there. Please let the others know of my gratitude, and I hope to see the PGR soon again as a rider. Now I know both sides of what it feels like to be a part of the PGR, and I can tell you..... YOU MATTER!!!
