The family of Larry “Marty” Martinez has invited the Patriot Guard to be there with them as they bid a final good-bye to their hero, and we are proud to be there with them.

Larry served with the United States Army in Vietnam as a Specialist, 4th Class, where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, the ARCOM, Combat Infantry Badge, and Vietnam Campaign Medal among others.

Larry loved being a carpenter and being in the construction industry.  In his spare time, he had a passion for cars, as well as enjoying camping, fishing and being outdoors.  Additionally he enjoyed baseball, karate, football, and riding quads in the desert.  However, Larry placed family above all else.

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years Molly, 3 Children, and 5 Grandchildren.
