The family of SGT Moses I. Herrera, 24, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for his funeral services.  We will be honored to be there.

SGT Moses Herrera was serving with the US Army in Alaska when he unexpectedly passed away.  He was attached to Company B, 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, 4 IBCT at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Military Family and Readiness Center.

SGT Herrera was an outstanding Soldier, wonderful brother, son and friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.

NOTE: COVID-19 restrictions may apply, please have masks/face coverings available

1230 - Mission Briefing

1300 - Flag Line as Hero is moved to awaiting coach

1315 - KSU as Hero is moved to Memorial Site

1330 - Flag Line as Hero is brought to Memorial Site

1430 - Flag Line at end of service as Hero is moved back down the hill to the Mortuary

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
