The family of Sergeant Juan Iturbide, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Sergeant Juan Iturbide, 24, a native of Orange, was a food service specialist assigned to the Headquarters Battalion on Marine Corps Base Hawaii  when he passed away on Feb 18.

The young Sergeant enlisted in the Marines in June of 2012 and was a seasoned veteran with three at-sea deployments, including a stint in South Korea. He attained the Good Conduct Medal as well as several overseas ribbons.

Sergeant Juan Iturbide is survived by his 2 1/2 year old daughter Leah, his mother Leonor, his father Sebastian and his sister Elizabeth.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, please see the time table if you would like to participate.  If you wish to go directly to the Cemetery, please plan to be there Not Later Than 1315hrs.

1330 - ETA at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park & Cemetery

1340 - Flagline as Hero is taken from Coach to Final resting place

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
