The family of US Army Veteran Hovhannes Tashchiyan, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service and his sacrifice to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Hovhannes was as a Specialist in the US Army.  In May of 2011 he was serving proudly in Iraq when he was injured in an IED explosion.  Some of Hovannes combat brothers were also injured and some died.   Hovhannes suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in the blast.

Hovhannes was then stationed in Fort Riley Kansas and was part of the Big Red One. He was later discharged due to the severity of his injuries.

In civilian life Hovhannes enjoyed computers, cars, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and his dog.  He also loved fishing, volunteering, the shooting range and family and friends.

Hovhannes is survived by his wife Desiree Carbajal-Tashchiyan, brother Artur Tashchiyan, sister Martha Carbajal and her husband Flavio.

There will be a church service in Riverside at 1000 hrs with interment at RNC at 1200. This mission is for a Flag Line Only at RNC.
