The family of Robert Edward Shepherd has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Mr. Shepherd proudly served our country, during WWII in the United States Army, from April 1942 to January 1946.  He served in the Pacific Theater for 3 years, and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant upon his honorable discharge.

Robert loved the outdoors and loved to camp and fish.  He also loved cats, tinkering, and playing pool.
Robert is survived by his wife Helen, 2 step daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

The family has requested flag line honors during this hero’s internment service at Riverside National Cemetery.  We will also provide a short Missing Man accompaniment from the family staging area to the internment shelter.  So, bring your big bike flags.

Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome, please see the time table if you would like to participate.
