The family of Marvin Minshell has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Marvin enlisted in the US Army at the age of 20 on Dec 5, 1942.  He served for nearly 3 years and was discharged on Nov 27, 1945.   A veteran of WWII, Marvin was headed to the Battle of the Bulge but German submarines had sunk so many troop transport ships that they were diverted to England.  He fought against the Nazis in France liberating the French from Nazi control.

Marvin is survived by daughters Cheryl Miller and Gayle Sanderson, sons Greg Minshell and Doug Minshell, 10 grand children and 12 great grand children.
