NOTE: Because of COVID 19 the following protocol shall be followed for this accompaniment:
Maintain strict social distancing of at least 6 feet.
Wear a facemask over both nose & mouth when you are away from your vehicle.
Do not gather for any photo opportunity.


The family of SCPO Antonio Egenias, age 96, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero, it would be our privilege to do so.

Antonio Egenias enlisted in the US Navy in 1948 and served 27 years, retiring in 1975 at the rank of Senior Chief (E-8).  He then went to work for Long Beach PD and later LAPD for a total of 20 years before retiring again.  He selflessly gave of himself to his country and his community serving the people for his entire life.

Sr Chief Egenias is survived by his wife Victoria, 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, he will be greatly missed by all.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.

NOTE: THIS HERO WILL BE BURIED EARLIER IN THE DAY AT FOREST LAWN IN CYPRESS BUT DUE TO COVID-19 ONLY THE FAMILY IS ALLOWED TO ATTEND.  WE WILL BE DOING A DRIVE-BY PARADE OF THE HERO'S HOME WITH HIS SURVIVORS PRESENT ALONG WITH THE CYPRESS PD, TO HONOR HIM.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
