The family of Lyndon Eugene Black, USAAC Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his service and military honors, we would be privileged to do so.
 
Lyndon Black, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1942 and again from 1943 until 1945.  He served stateside during the WWII and achieved the rank of Private First Class.  After the war he had a variety of jobs including security, working at a bowling alley, running a motel and had over twenty years working for the post office. He loved bowling, baseball and fishing. According to his grand-daughter, Lyndon had a raging sweet tooth.
 
Lyndon outlived two wives and two children and is survived by his daughter Juanitia Fay Nida, 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
The weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can made a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

1330 - Mission briefing
 
1345 - Prepare for Flag Line at conclusion of service and relocate to the gravesite (located on the same property).
 
1400 - Flag Line and Military Honors at gravesite.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
