The family of Fireman (FN E3)Gregory "Greg" Charles Tracey, USN has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor their Hero for services on Saturday 16 June 2018 we are Honored to do so.

Greg Tracey was born on the island of Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 7, 1960.  He and his family moved to Ridgecrest, CA where he was raised.  After completing his GED Mesquite School, he enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS OLDENDORF for 3 years from October 1978 until August 1982 when he was honorably discharged.  He earned the Humanitarian Service Medal during his service.

In 1982 following his discharge he moved back to Hawaii where he met the love of his life Justina, 3 years later after they married they moved back to Ridgecrest and Greg was quickly hired on as a Civil Service employee and began to raise their family.  Their 2 sons, Gabriel 26 and Zechariah 18, grew up playing basketball, their very proud Dad enjoyed watching them play and made nearly every game.  Greg also loved to take his sons fishing in the nearby creeks and Owens River valley.  In January of 2013 Greg was forced to quit his job due to health complications.

Greg is survived by his loving wife Tina, his two sons Gabrial & Zechariah, and grandkids Sione 6, Kitai 3, Kemora 1, and Kenai 2 they will miss their Grandpa dearly.
