PART 2 OF 2-PART MISSION

The United States Army and the family of 1SG Thang Q. Ho have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the final military honors of their hero.  It will be our privilege to be in attendance.

At the time of his passing, 1SG Ho was serving with Charlie CO, 2-1IN, 2-2 SBCT.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this soldier.  For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, this is an accompaniment from the church to the cemetery, approximately three miles.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

TIMETABLE FOR SATURDAY, 27 APRIL 2024

0945 - Mission briefing.

1000 - Church services begin Saint Polycarp Catholic Church.

1245 - Est KSU to Westminster Memorial Park and Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/TEdzGAd7JvPj2WGt8

1300 - Est arrival to cemetery.  Flag line as hero is moved from the coach to the grave site for graveside service and military honors.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes.  No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service.  Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
