The family of SP5 Chris H. Petrakis, 62,  has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service and honor him, we would be privileged to do so.

Chris Henry Petrakis served in the US Army from Feb 1971 to Dec 1973, much of that time spent in Vietnam.  He was the recipient of the Bronze Star for valor.  He attained the rank of SP5 by the time of his honorable discharge.

Chris suffered significant illness as a result of being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam, and succumbed from those illnesses 2 years after being approved by the VA for 100% service connected disability.

Chris was a member of the PGR and loved riding his "beautiful red Harley FX-D with POW/MIA detailing" his wife told us.  Chris also loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Tracey.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
