The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to accompany Gunnery Sergeant Eugene Jones, of Montgomery, West Virginia, to his departure for air travel from San Diego to the state of Tennessee. It will be our honor to do so.
GySgt Jones was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. He passed while attending an advanced career course at Camp Pendleton, California. He is survived by his wife and his three children.
GySgt Jones will be flown from San Diego to Tennessee for his final services. We will meet at the mortuary in Fallbrook, provide a Flag Line and then accompany this Hero as he enters his final journey home. The PGR in Tennessee is planning a mission to accompany this Hero there.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to San Diego Airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather meet at the airport, see Secondary Staging information below.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
