The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to accompany Disabled Heroes from the Veterans Hospital at Loma Linda, CA, to Lake Arrowhead for a day organized by the City of Lake Arrowhead and the Skyforest Elks.

We will meet these Heroes at the hospital in Loma Linda, assist as they are loaded onto buses and accompany them up the mountain and to the lake. Once at the lake we will assist loading our Heroes, some with walkers and wheelchairs, onto the boats.  Then, while these most deserving Heroes are enjoying a few hours of fishing, we will have time to shop at the mall or ride around Lake Arrowhead.

After our Heroes enjoy their time fishing we will meetup again and help unload and load for an accompaniment to the Skyforest Elks Club where a great lunch will be provided to all participants including the PGR.  We will then accompany them back down the mountain to the VA Hospital in Loma Linda to complete the day.

NOTE: This posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Disabled Veteran Heroes. We will be accompanying these Heroes from the VA Hospital to Lake Arrowhead and back again.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
