MEMORIAL - 6 USMC Heroes, Oceanside, CA - 03 JUN 15

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the USMC Squadron that lost a helicopter in the mountains of Nepal, to attend a Memorial for the 6 Marines that perished.  We are honored to attend.
 
Those that will be honored are:
 
Capt. Dustin R. Lukasiewicz; Capt. Christopher L. Norgren; Sgt. Ward M. Johnson IV; Sgt. Eric M. Seaman; Cpl. Sara A. Medina; and Lance Cpl. Jacob A. Hug.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these American Heroes.
We will ride to the location of the ceremony, if you would like to accompany, and all are welcome, see details below.

Each motorcycle rider should have registration, proof of insurance. You should also wear hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet. A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended.  Have your I.D. ready when you arrive at the gate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
