The family of Joseph Edgar Tusant has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service of their Hero, we would be honored to so.

Joseph E. Tusant served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 14 AUG 45 and attended Medical Dept Special Schools.  He was a surgical technician at Wakeman General Hospital.  He was then assigned to Squadron E, 3505th AAF Base Unit.  He was honorably discharged 16 NOV 46 at the rank of Corporal at the end of the war.

After the war he married his wife, Betty Lou Hedding in April, 1949 and lived in Iowa where he worked for his father in construction. After briefly working in the insurance business, they moved to Arizona where he again worked in construction and owned his own business from 1957 to 1960.  In 1960 they moved to California and he began working in commercial construction and was instrumental in building several shopping centers throughout So California. Some of those are Fashion Island, Newport Beach, The City Mall of Orange, The Cerritos Mall, The Laguna Mall and the Lake Elsinore Town Center.

Joseph was preceded by his loving wife Betty Lou in August, 2013, and a daughter Patty Ann in 1954. He is survived by his sons Joseph J. Tusant, US Navy Veteran, and John R. Tusant.
