The family of Claude Irwin has invited the Patriot Guard to pay Honor to this American Hero. It will be our Honor to do so.

Claude served in the U.S. Army from November 14, 1952 to November 19, 1954. Claude served with Company M, 1st Infantry, 6th Regiment.

His four year enlistment was cut short due to a terrible traffic accident in his younger years. Because of the times, Claude was able to stay in the Army as a reserve under the "Universal Military Training and Service Act". Claude did that for another eight years.

When Claude's service ended he was given an Honorable Discharge and the National Defense Service Medal.

After his time in the Army, Claude developed a love of gardening and traveling. He especially loved going on cruises and hitting up the buffets. He also became Co- Owner of Western Financial Printing.

Claude is survived by his wife Myra and children Cindy, Terry, Mark, and Arlene. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
