The Patriot Guard Riders have the privilege and honor to be invited by the family of Louis Garcia Gusman to render Military Honors for his service to our great country.  It will be our honor to do so.

Louis Garcia Gusman, 94, was born on August 25, 1924 in Santa Ana, California to Jesse Gusman and entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2018 in Yorba Linda, California.

Louis served in the US Army from 07/31/1943-05/11/1945 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Pvt.  He was awarded the following awards during his service:  Normandy Campaign, Northern France Campaign, Germany Campaign, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, European Asiatic Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon and 3 Bronze Battle Stars.

With hard working hands, Louis was an upholsterer in the furniture manufacturing industry for over 55 years.

Louis leaves behind his loving family: Son, Arthur, Daughters, Eleanor, Celia and Stella and Grandchildren.  Louis is predeceased by his loving wife, Socorro Gusman, his son-in-law, Jim Beverage, his Grandson, Paul Gusman as well as several other family members who have gone before him.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate, please arrive quietly as services will be in progrsss.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
