The family of Severino James LeDonne has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

James, as everyone called him, was born on 24 September 1927 and enter into Eternal Rest on 05 February 2019.

James joined the U.S. Navy one month before his 16th birthday and served from 5 August 1943 to 22 March 1946 during World War II. James was a Radioman and had boots on the ground in the Philippines in support of ground units.   Among his awards, James received the World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 star,  Philippine Liberation Medal with 1 star and Philippine Independence Medal.  James was honorably discharged as a Petty Officer 3rd Class(Radioman 3rd Class).

James explored many jobs in his 91 years of life, including working in the family garage in his youth, truck driving while his children were young, owned a small grocery store and then a furniture store in Philadelphia before coming to California. He finally retired in 1993 as head mechanic from Litton Industries.  James loved his family, loved to travel, camp, fish, but cruises were his passion.

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine and his second wife Kathryn.  Patricia, his third wife and James were married for 37 years.  This blended family produced seven children, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann LeDonne, son Anthony, daughters Helen, Kathleen, Patricia’s sons Bill, Joe, daughters Denise and Cheryl.
