NOTE: THERE HAS BEEN A TIME CHANGE FOR THIS MISSION
PLEASE SEE THE UPDATED TIME TABLE BELOW!

The family of Mario Roacho has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Mario Roacho served his country in the US Navy, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  After his military service Mario joined the US Border Patrol/Homeland Security where he served his country for another 50 years.   Mario was 81 at the time of his passing and was still an active duty DHS officer.

Mario was predeceased by his wife; he is survived by his daughter and 3 sons.

The family has requested an 8-mile accompaniment from the family home in San Diego to Harbor Island where they will board a boat so Mario can be committed to the sea.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and family to dockside, San Diego Harbor.   Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
