The family of Angelo John Azzolina Sr, age 97, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Angelo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served from 1942 to 1944 all Stateside assigned to the POW camps for Italian & German prisoners in Hereford, Texas as an interpreter, and then transferred to California on Barage Balloon crews to install balloons along the coast of California to defend against possible Japanese air strikes. Angelo excelled in every job he was assigned and loved serving his country.  Angelo was honorably discharged as a Corporal - Tech 5.

After his service, he settled down to have a family. He was a loving family man and loved to travel in his RV and liked to go on camping trips. He was a 50 year member of the American Legion.

He will deeply missed by all who knew him.

Angelo is survived by his wife Sylvia, Sons Tom,  Andrew and Tim, Daughter Debra,  2 step children, and 7 grandchildren.
