The family of Frank Pavlik, 85, has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at his funeral service and military honors.   We will proudly fulfill that request.

Frank served in the USMC from 25 Mar 1957 to 24 March 1960.  He started his military career at Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, North Carolina.  He served at Camp McTureous, Okinawa and finished at El Toro Marine Base in California.  He did not serve during any wars.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3).

Post-military, Frank lived the remainder of his life in California.  He worked 50+ years at Mail and Marketing, a local direct mail company and enjoyed following the news and sports.

Frank had a keen sense of humor and was an avid reader and loved sports, especially the Los Angeles Dodgers and California Angels.  He regularly read the Orange County Register and Los Angeles Times from front to back.  In retirement, flowers and gardening brought him joy.

He was married in 1960 and had three children.  He is preceded in death by son, Stephan, brother, John; sister, Mary Ann Kapp, and three half siblings, Helen Seifer; Agnes Pavlik, and Anthony Pavlik.  Frank is survived by his sons, Robert (Debbie) and Thomas (Carrie), four grandchildren, and sister, Amy Jenkins.
