The family of Benny H. Chavez invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved one's funeral services and military honors.
 
Benny was born in Carson, CA. on 2 APR 52 and attended Carson High School.  At the age of 17, still in high school, Benny convinced his parents he needed to help fight the war in Vietnam.  Benny enlisted in the Army and served from 1970 to 1973 with a tour in Vietnam as a Helicopter/ Airplane Mechanic and Door Gunner. He then reenlisted and served from 1973 to 1975, completing another tour in Vietnam as an infantryman.
 
Benny loved working on cars, especially race cars.  Benny loved & lived on his boat in the Long Beach Marina.
 
Benny is survived by brothers, Louie, Art, Angel and sisters, Mary, and Gloria (Texas PGR member).

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please ride/drive safely.
