SHORT NOTICE: Paul Donovan, USMC, Lancaster, 01 OCT. 16

The family of Paul Donovan has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to honor this American Hero; it will be our honor to do so.
 
Paul served active duty in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1971 until 1973. He was discharged at the rank of corporal.

He was also a school teacher and taught at Jack Northop Elementary for 21 years.
Paul was the local president of the local AA. He loved painting and carpentry.
 
He is survived by his loving wife Silvia , his children Alec, Jenny, Frank, and Alex as well as his three beloved grandchildren.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be meeting the hero and his family at the church. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

1415 - Mission Briefing
 
1430 – Flag Line as the hero leaves the church
 
1445 – Accompany hero to his family home. (approx. 6 miles)

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission, go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.
