The family of a WWII Hero, Carl W. Sedler Jr., 90, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his services and honor him for his military service, we will be honored to do so.

Carl W. Sedler Jr., enlisted in the U.S. Navy just after graduating from Alhambra High School in July, 1944, he served in the Philippines in WWII. During his time in the service and was responsible for the Armed Guards aboard ship. He was honorably discharged at the end of the war in November, 1945.

After the war he enrolled at UCLA, played on the basketball team, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.  He then worked for Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) for 32 1/2 years and retired in 1985.
