Per request of our good friend and PGR member Gregg “Digger” Walker (Walker Family Funeral Services) the family of Scott Vernon Anderson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Scott was born in Spokane, Washington on 17 February 1963 and entered into Eternal Rest on 17 November 2016.

Scott proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine for thirteen years and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. His awards/commendations included the Rifle Marksmanship Badge, Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), Meritorious Mast (2nd Award), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3rd Award), National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal (2nd Award), Meritorious Unit Commendation (2nd Award) and Kuwait Liberation Medal.

After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Scott worked as a soil remediation technician for about 3 years.

Scott is survived by his daughter Jaclynn Anderson and son Zachary Anderson. He also leaves behind his ex-wife Christine Hohman.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.

Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember to post your condolences for the family to this link:  https://www.patriotguard.org/showthread.php?425900

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
