The family of Matthew James Millard, age 67, which includes his brother and PGR member Phil Millard, good friend of many of us, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend a memorial service for Matthew in recognition of his military service, it would be our honor to do so.

Matt entered the US Army on August 25, 1969 and was Honorably Discharged on August 21, 1971 at the rank of PFC.  He was stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri for most of his time in the Army.

After receiving his discharge Matt started his own trucking business in 1971 and did this all his life until his health forced him to stop working in June, 2016.

Matt enjoyed his work, photography, camping, working on his truck, restoring his 1963 Corvair, and helping others.

Matt is survived by his wife Jean, children Shawna, Matthew, Jeremy, Sheren, Jason, and Michael, step daughters Chrissy and Cathy, mother Ruth, sisters Melody and Maureen, brother Phil, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
