Part 2 of a 3 part Mission.

The U.S. Navy and the family of Navy SEAL CPO Charles H. Keating IV have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Charles Humphrey Keating IV enlisted in the US Navy in February 2007 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in 2008.   A decorated combat veteran and star athlete, CPO Keating had previously been deployed to Afghanistan and was on his third tour of Iraq.   He gave his life while serving there as an adviser to local forces.

CPO Keating was an E-6 First Class Petty officer at the time of his death but has since been advanced to CPO.  He served from February 2007 to May 2016, service for which he earned numerous awards and decorations including the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "Vā€, and a pending Purple Heart.
