The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to help honor Chief Special Warfare Operator Bradley S. Cavner for his gallant service to his country.  It will be our honor to do so.

CPO Cavner enlisted in the Navy in 2003.  He completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL and SEAL qualification training in Coronado and served with West Coast-based SEAL units since 2004.

He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.  For his service he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with “V” for valor in combat, the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon.

Tragically, this Hero was killed in a parachuting accident while furthering his training in El Centro.

He is survived by his parents, one sister and two brothers.

We have been asked to provide a flag line for family as they enter and exit the memorial.

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be providing a Flag Line for the Hero’s family. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

Time Table for Sunday, 29 JUNE 2014:

1400 – Stage at entrance to Coronado High School Football Field, (South side, 7th Street) where the Coronado PD has provided us with ample parking. https://goo.gl/maps/ukusz
