SHORT NOTICE - Vito Tony Berardini, 90, USCG, Riverside

The family of Vito Tony Berardini, a veteran of the US Coast Guard and WWII has invited the PGR to be present and help honor this member of the greatest generation for his service to his country. It will be our honor to do so.
 
Vito Berardini was 90 when he passed. He served in the Coast Guard from 1943 until 1946. He was stationed on the Island of Kauai. After serving in the Coast Guard, he had a trucking business and hauled lumber and tires, He also had his own tire shop “Vito's Tires” in Bellflower. He loved race cars and demolition derbys and even had his own demolition car which he drove. He loved working on cars & trucks and he loved working out especially out on the beach.
 
He is survived by his four children, daughter Filomena Powers, son Vito Berardini, son Carlo Berardini & daughter Maria Saucedo, nine grand children and two great grand children
 
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

 
The weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat, it can made a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
