The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family and the U.S. Army to attend the arrival and the services for PFC Keith Michael Williams, age 19, who was Killed in Action in Afghanistan.  It would be our honor to do so.

PFC Keith Williams died July 24, in Mirugol Kalay, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the enemy attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device. These soldiers were assigned 1st Battalion,
12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the arrival to the funeral home.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

This will be a 2 Part Mission

Part 1

Part 1 Time table for Tuesday, 05 AUG 14:

1530 -  Staging at Visalia Airport, 9501 West Airport Dr. Visalia, CA

1615 -  Riders Meeting

1700 -  Flag Line for dignified transfer of Hero to coach.

1800 -  KSU to funeral home

       route to be determined by family.

1900 -  Arrive Funeral Home, Flag Line for dignified transfer of Hero to Funeral Home.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving

NOTE: Due to heightened security for all military funerals, it is very important that you do not share the details of this mission outside of trusted PGR members. Do not discuss these details on other forums, blogs or social media networks. During the mission please report any suspicious activity to the R/C.


You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
