TIME CHANGE - There has been a significant time change this has moved 2 hrs 45 minutes earlier.

The PGR has been invited by the family and the US Army to attend the arrival and the funeral of PFC Derrick W. Cleveland, 23.

PFC Cleveland perished in an auto accident near his duty station, Ft Knox, KY on 18 DEC 15.  PFC Cleveland was assigned to HHC 19th Engineer Company.

A Long Beach native, Derrick graduated from Jordan High School where he was involved in the ROTC program.  He was determined to be a Soldier since speaking with a recruiter at his high school in his Sophomore year.  He was living his dream of being that Soldier he wanted to be.

He is described as a happy man, always making everyone laugh, and as a role model inspiring others to follow their dreams.

PFC Cleveland is survived by his wife Aspen and 11 month old daughter, his parents and siblings.
