The family of Jean A. Nadeau has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Jean volunteered to join the Army and served honorably stateside from July, 1966 to July, 1968.  He completed Basic Training at Ft. Bliss, TX and Advanced Infantry Training as a Combat Engineer at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.   Honors included the National Defense Service Ribbon.  He achieved the rank of Sgt at time of discharge.

In civilian life Jean served in the City of Orange Police Department for eleven years.  He then worked seven years as an investigator for the Orange County District Attorney and finished his career as a senior investigator for the Riverside County Attorney.  He loved walking the family dog Duke, enjoyed family and friends and mostly enjoyed telling stories.

Jean is survived by his wife Angela, children Dustin, Lindsay and Jeff, and seven grandchildren.
