Louie R. Sarracino, 95, USA, WWII, Riverside - 20 NOV 17

The family of Louie R. Sarracino, 95, has invited the PGR to participate in honoring his life and service to his country. It will be a privilege to do so.

Louie was born on January 1, 1922 and passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017

Louis was enlisted in the Army during WWII where he was spotted by a Doctor as a person of intelligence and empathy.  Louie served from March 1943 to March 1946 and achieved the rank of TEC 4
.
After his discharge, he attended USC on the GI Bill where he obtained his Master’s Degree and subsequently obtained his 2 PhD’s in speech and one in Psychology while teaching at East Los Angeles College for 53 years.  Louie was also awarded two Fulbright scholarships and taught in Iraq as well as the Netherlands.  Louie also found time for those returning from conflict as a Psychiatric Social Worker.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Sarracino, his sons Tom, Marc, Sten and Rob.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
