We have been invited by his wife Lisa to accompany Daniel Lee Rush to his final resting place, and it is our honor to do so.

Daniel served in the US Army 1969/1972 and achieved the rank of PFC E-3. He was a Vietnam Veteran, his awards and medals were National Defense Service Medal,Vietnam Service medal W/2 Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/1960 Device,2 0 O/S Bars, Combat Infantryman Badge.

Loving Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Daniel Lee Rush age 67, passed away at his home on August 3, 2018. Daniel and his sisters were the second set of triplets born in Santa Maria, CA.
 
A lifelong resident of Santa Maria, he kept many of us entertained with his stories of the good old days. Daniel spent over 30 years working in the oil fields and oil refineries. On his off times Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his large family. He loved this country and was a Patriot to the end.

Daniel is preceded in death by his son Derrick, parents Maxine and Fernando Rojas. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Lisa , his children, Daniel Rush Jr., Nicholas Bewley, W. Buck Bewley, Mark Rush, Shiresa Rush. His Siblings, William Rush, Vickie Rodriguez, Darlene Witmer, Donna Castro, Allen Rush, Wayne Hampton, Louis Rojas, Linda Rojas Keath. His godchildren, Christopher and Jacob, his pride and joys, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
