The family of Ramon Gomez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Ramon was born on 11 March 1934 and entered into Eternal Rest on 4 June 2011.

Ramon Served in the USAF Reserves from March 1951 to September 1953. He served as a clerk reporting the news.  During his time in the service, Ramon was deployed to Korea during the war as well as Japan.  His awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Korea Service Medal, and the United Nations Korea Medal.  Ramon was Honorably Discharged as an Airman.

After his Military Service, Ramon worked as a barber for over 54 years.  During that time, he also worked as a notary public and a realtor.

Among his hobbies, Ramon loved music (especially Jazz), playing the Bongos, and walks in the park.

Ramon is survived by his son Rodrick, daughters Virginia, Ramona, Bridget, Mary, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
