The Family of R.H. Fox has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to join them in presenting honors to this member of the GREATEST GENERATION, WWII. Bob was born in Ohio in 1922.  Bob passed on 22 Dec 14, three days before his 92nd birthday.
 
Bob was stationed aboard Merchant Marine vessels all over the world. Starting out at the academy and working his way to 1st assistant Engineer and was honorably discharged by the U.S. Coast Guard at the end of World War II.
 
R.H. Fox was a merchant engineering seaman. After the end of WWII he became a stationary steam engineer and was a union man who, with others, started operating engineers local 501 and was their business manager until retirement.

Bob leaves behind his wife Betty, and a son and daughter.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

1200 - Est Flag Line for services which will begin when all are ready.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
