The family of Allan C. Shepard has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Allan was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1932.  He proudly served in the US Air Force 1951 – 1955.  He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, was a flight engineer flying on various aircraft, and also a jet and prop aircraft mechanic.  He served in Korea as a USAF Flight Engineer and Jet Mechanic.

Allan loved to race Harleys on flat track as a kid, rode motocross later and his last bike was a Harley FXR.  He and his wife traveled the world after they retired taking her to a lot of places he went as a young man in the Air Force.

Allan is survived by his wife, Marilyn Shepard, Sister Eleanor Ostrom, Sons; David, John, Steve and 3 grandchildren, Scott, Connor and Sabrina.

Mikel “Burly” Burroughs, Retired Colonel US Army will ride with the PGR in honor of his close friend Allan.
