The family of CDR Richard Darren White, 51, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.
 
CDR White served as an Anesthesiologist in the US Navy.   After 23 years service he retired in 2007 at the rank of Commander.
 
CDR White was also a veteran of the Global War on Terror.  For his service he received the Navy Achievement Medal, the Navy Unit Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War On Terror Service Medal, the Navy Rifleman’s Ribbon and the Navy Pistol Shot Ribbon.  He also furthered his education while serving by earning a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Anesthesia, and he completed Critical Care Courses.
 
Richard is survived by his wife.
 
Note: There will be two paid motor escorts for this procession.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.
