The Post:

The family of Otis Paul Stoltz has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Otis was born in Saint Croix, Wisconsin on April 7, 1937 and entered into Eternal Rest on September 14, 2016.

Otis served as a Specialist Fourth Class in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. Otis was stationed in Korea as part of the post-war reconstruction effort. He went to crane operator school as part of his Army training and made this his career.

Otis was part of the Operating Engineers Local 12 Union for more than fifty years. He served Local 12 on the Advisory Board as well as the Executive Board. Otis and his wife Bunnie retired to Canyon Lake in 1998. Otis enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle regularly and rode to Sturgis South Dakota many times.

Otis was also very devoted to his Church, St. Martha’s Catholic Parish, where he served as an usher. He also volunteered at St. Martha’s Food Pantry every week and greatly enjoyed serving his community.

Otis is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Bunnie. He is survived by his daughter Darcy and son Paul. He is also survived by his sister Helen, two grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and numerous relatives and cherished friends.
