The family of Army Veteran Robert Sanchez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Robert served honorably from September 1968 to September 1971. In March 1969, after basic training at Fort Ord, he was sent to Vietnam initially as an Air Medic. Wanting to do more, he sought assignment as “a door gunner” in the 1st Aviation Brigade of the Big Red One. During his service he was awarded the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal and several others. His rank at discharge was E-5.
In civilian life Robert was a fork lift operator.
He is survived by his wife of forty five years Carmen, sons Robert, Ben, Mike and seven grandchildren..

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage Please ride/drive safely.
