The family of Air Force Veteran Joseph William Spiny has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Joseph served honorably from December 1968 through 1972, including a tour in Vietnam.

Following his service he studied Political Science at East Los Angeles College, graduating in 1976. He worked in Public Affairs and was active in community services.  Joseph was a 45 year member of the Montebello American Legion Post #272, and served as 3rd Vice President. He helped his parents in their bakery business and was a lover of music.

Joseph’s only known survivor is a cousin, Sadie Salas.
