The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Alvin Lee Gautreau to be present at the memorial service for their hero. It is our honor to do so.
Alvin Gautreau served in the United States Air Force from 1969-1970. Though in the Air Force, he served with US Army LRRP units. His unit was tasked with search and rescue missions of downed pilots and flight crews, often without a uniform, as many missions were across the border. Alvin was listed as MIA/KIA more than once. His wife even received harassing phone calls asking her if she was happy knowing her husband had been lost.
Alvin lived a fruitful life after his service. He loved his country, loved the military and loved his family. He is survived by his wife, two children and two grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please ride/drive safely.
