The family of Robert Bruce Swanson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero
for his service and sacrifice to his country. We are honored to do so.

Robert served in the United States Army in 1966-1967 including service in Vietnam.  During
his service he received the Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal   Robert
was an E5 at the time of his discharge.

Following his army service Robert worked for General Electric for forty years before retiring to
Arizona. 

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of fifty years Rebecca, three
children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military
Veteran. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is
welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first
mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress
for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage. Please ride/drive safely.
