The family of Larry Lewis has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Larry Lewis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri on July 1, 1934, he relocated to California and he attended Hoover High School in San Diego and graduated in 1952.
Larry then joined the Air Force in 1954 and served for four years until he was honorably discharged in 1958.
In 1985 Larry married the love of his life, Debbie. Larry was in construction for over forty years; His family was everything to him, and so were his friends. Bringing his family together brought Larry so much joy. He loved gathering outside with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends whether at the barbeque or entertaining his friends with his jokes and stories on the golf course. His humor will be one of the things that both family and friends will miss the most. Larry had a great laugh and a wonderful smile, and the most gorgeous blue eyes. Making someone smile made Larry's day.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie, his son, Shawn; grandchildren, Kilah, Summer, and Shawn Jr.; stepchildren Debra, Carl, and Ricky, step grandchildren, James and Gregory; and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen, mother, Esther Lucille, and brother Stephen.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
