Our long time member John Spencer and his wife Mary have reached out to the PGR asking us to be there to honor their grandson, CPL Tyler Michael Slaton, age 36, it will be our honor to do so.

Tyler Slaton enlisted in the US Army on June 26, 2008 and served proudly in the Global War On Terror until his Medical Retirement on September 5, 2013 at the rank of Corporal. He received the following awards,  Army Commendation, Good Conduct, National Defense Service Medal, Gulf War On Terror Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge.

After the military Tyler had several jobs, mainly roofing, he loved his 2 huge Bull Mastiff dogs, he was an athlete who played baseball and football in High School and he was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
