Per the request of our good friends at Risher Mortuary and the family of Ramon Angelo Miraya, the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) have been invited to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.
Ramon was born on 17 September 1950.
Ramon was on active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1973 during the Vietnam War. One of his duty stations included the USS Providence (CLG-6). His awards/citations included the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon. Ramon received his honorable discharge as a Seaman.
After the military Ramon was a foreman for fifteen years for a Transportation Company.
Ramon is survived by his two daughters, Carla and Elsie. He also leaves behind two grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
