!!! TIME CHANGES BELOW/SEE CORRECTED TIME TABLE FOR CHANGES !!!The family of SSgt Cole B. Van Dorn, 29, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his services and honor him, it would be our great privilege to do so.
SSgt Cole Van Dorn enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2004 at the age of 18 yrs old, he proudly served with deployments to both OIF in 2007 and OEF in 2010 as part of the 3/1 1st Marines. Cole was a big hockey fan and also loved video games. He also continued to be very active with the Wounded Warrior Battalion and was admired and well loved by his brother Marines. Excerpt of a post from a brother Marine: "Today we lost a giant amongst men. Cole Van Dorn"
He is survived by his wife Nicole, and son Cameron, his mother Elizabeth Lira-Martinez, his father Tom Van Dorn, and his brother Nathan Van Dorn.
