The family of Army Veteran Juventino Alarcon has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Juventino, known to his family and friends as Andy, served honorably from 1955 to 1959 as an Army Ranger and Jump Master in Special Forces.  Prior to coming to America he had military service in his native Equador.  Andy was one of 36 soldiers that formed the 1st Equadorian Airborne Militants.

In civilian life Andy was a fork lift operator for Transcon and Fed Ex for several years. He retired from the garden department at Walmart just three days before his death .  Andy was very physically active all of his life, running six to eight miles six days a week, and was a perfectionist in all that he did.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years Teresa, daughters Alexandra and Maritza, and son Diego. He is also survived by siblings Senida, George, Hortencia and Sylvia; and five
grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

Time Table for Friday, 17 APR 2015:

1345 (est) – Flag line for dignified transfer from Chapel to the coach following the service.

[Note -  There will be a procession from the Chapel to a nearby reception hall (a few blocks away) where his ashes will again be carried in. The family has invited the PGR to join them for that, so we may be asked to take part in the procession.  This will be decided at that time]
